She finishes up the meals for everyone, putting them down at the table and calling everyone to come and get it before taking a bowl for herself, leaning against the doorframe to her room, waiting for her daughter to be ready.
She nods, walking into the kitchen and beginning to make them something "Then I will make you something from my homeland. Does your mother not feed you? Or are you without a mother."
Omori takes her own bowl, quickly consuming its contents (one might think she had some curse of eternal hunger as well) before going to gather her things and meeting up again with her mother, now fully prepared.
"Thank you..." Amicus is silent for a moment after. "...I do have a mother now, though I didn't have one at first..." It explains. "...I didn't eat anything because I wasn't sure if I even could..."
Merablle has already begun the ritual Omori has seen before, though with the alterations that allow them to reach out to the actual place, the plane the star guardians most often can access, that and powerful star druids.
"Why didn't you ask her to make you anything?" She asks, looking back to them for a moment "It is best to see if you can do anything with those you trust, rather than those you do not know."
Omori helps with the ritual in any way she can, channeling a bit of her magic into it. Her starry form flickers to life, seemingly without her even knowing it happened.
"...I don't know..." It answers, genuinely not seeming to know the answer. It is silent after, thinking to itself.

She smiles and transforms into her own when she notices, her inky wings resting at her sides before darkness begins to take the room, flickering stars appearing all around them as it begins. Merabelle thinks about it anyone else might be here when they do.
"Well, you will figure it out some day." She puts down some Beef Stroganoff "Eat."

As the star-filled abyss envelops them, Omori looks around at the glittering lights with a similar sense of wonder and awe she had when she first saw them. The two of them can also see some of the lights moving- stellar celestials drifting through the glittering void.
"...Thank you..." The shadow responds, drifting over to the offered food, picking up a fork (which it struggles somewhat with, being only partly corporeal). Its face splits open into a large facsimile of a mouth, which takes a small bite.

She enjoys the cold, floating on her back through the inky darkness, looking to the other starry celestials for a moment, seeing if she recognizes any of them by presence or power.

She recognizes all of the ones in the immediate area from her many years of being a star druid. Star celestials are, much like the stars they embody, often have large distances between them- she would likely have to travel a long distance here to see one she doesn't at least recall seeing before. She immediately recognizes the one she's interacted with the most- Ea, emissary of the closest star to their planet that isn't the sun.
It takes another small bite, eating very slowly- it wants to savor the taste of the food for as long as possible. "...I never asked... what is your name?.."
