*As it's getting closer to halloween, I think I'll have a go at this*
A boy, he can't be any older than 16 or 17, is sitting on a stool in a corner of the room. Before now, no one seemed to of noticed him. He holds one of those long, chandelier candles that is alight with a blue flame. He has dark brown hair, and has a nice looking black jacket on, which has little copper buttons used to close it. He wears a simple dark top underneath the jacket, dusty black trousers, and dancers shoes. He's relatively thin, and has a pale white face. His eyes are silver, but they reflect the light from the candle, giving them a pale blue glow. Around his neck is a silver Pegasus pendant, Which also reflects the blue light, but it seems to reflect more than it took in, giving the area around it a very, very faint glow.
He watches a mouse crawl into a bottle of wine on the bar, and a little smirk comes across his face, allowing you to see one of his tiny fangs.

The spirit keeps polishing a glass as a bottle of wine and an empty glass are levitated to the table. The wine bottle opens itself and pours its contents into the glass. The glass then levitates up to the boy.

"Errrm, Yes, I would." He replies, avoiding the shadow monsters eyes. "Please, no, umm, thank you." He adds hurriedly on the end.
It seems confused. "I'm sorry, did I upset you? I'm sure I can make it right if you just tell me whats wrong."
"Sorry, it's just that it's my first day away from home. I would very much like a room, if you have one for me."
"Of course! Just sign your name right here, and we can get you your key." He holds out a large book with several names already in it.
He singes the place where he was supposed to sign with his candle, and then writes, "Limbo light-barer."
The shadow monster hands him a heavy iron key with a stylized eye worked into the handle. "Now, let me take you to your room. Unless you want to just hang out here a little bit longer."

The bartender notices him for the first time. "A drink, sir?"
He realises you've noticed him, and his candle goes purple. He looks at the bartender, a little embraced, and says "Um... do you have any wine?" He sounds nervous, as if he's never asked for a drink before.
The specter is silent for a moment. "I would say you were too young for that, but you don't appear to be in a state where it could possibly harm you, so we'll allow it."
The spirit keeps polishing a glass as a bottle of wine and an empty glass are levitated to the table. The wine bottle opens itself and pours its contents into the glass. The glass then levitates up to the boy.
The boy makes sure there is no mouse in the glass, and then drinks. He He spits out his first sip, keeps in his second, likes his third, and downs the whole glass for his fourth. His candle goes green.
"Do I, umm, just ask for a room? I have payment, but I'm not sure how much this is worth." He puts a gold bar on the bar. "Would that be enough for a room? Or if not, a spot in the Cellar?"
The poltergeist does... something. "I'm coming!" Comes a voice from upstairs, followed by rapid, heavy footsteps.
The boy turns his head towards the stairs
A very fat shadow monster in a tight suit rushes downstairs. "Hello there, sir! I hear that you want a room?"
"Errrm, Yes, I would." He replies, avoiding the shadow monsters eyes. "Please, no, umm, thank you." He adds hurriedly on the end.

I want you to know. You are going to lose. You are going to lose badly. You’re going to lose badly and it’s going to be awesome.
Erica comes out of a nearby closet wearing the top half of an employee's uniform, still wearing her ragged dress underneath.
The Master turns to admire her, despite her appearance barely changing. "You look gorgeous, my darling!"
She blushes a bit. "Aw, thanks! Now," she straightens her tie. "what do I do now?"
"Pretty much whatever you want as long as you follow the rules and leave our guests satisfied. If someone calls you, you come and answer, but otherwise, you don't really have any specific jobs."

"Sounds easy enough." Erica looks around, excited but clearly a little nervous.
