I'm assuming, based off of the chosen threads, that you're looking for something social?
Onions is relatively easy to join, although kind of dying recently. Pretty much, you can post there and...boom.
'What If' I had to actually look up (hadn't seen it yet). That's Link's; ask him.
Never-ending Arena is also Link's, but all you have to do is make a character and challenge someone to a battle (provided they're not overwhelmed by challengers and won't just cheese you; you also might have to negotiate for lower-level characters because that's been going on a while).
Roleplay? There are plenty of RP threads, all focused on roleplay in a certain world/location/scenario. You should maybe read some parts of RP threads, that'll give you the gist and answer most of the FAQ. It really depends upon the thread, so, if there's a specific one you want to join, definitely read that thread's OP (original post) for clarifications on anything else.
Penance is Dry's (Dryruins') mafia game. We had a series of Mafia games going back in the day, but those've kinda died off, and I think Penance has as well? We should probably make a new one; PM me if you'd be interested in that. (That invitation extends to everyone.)

Nice to see some interest in my threads! Onions you can just walk into, What If answer one of the hypotheticals and then post your own, Never-ending arena has the rules on page 1, Roleplay just make a char and say you’re interested in joining, and Penance… that died a while ago. Best let it rest.
