AS A SAID BEFORE, THIS IS A NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE FOR YOU. YOU ARE SIMPLY CLOSE TO DEATH. WE WILL MEET AGAIN AT SOME POINT WHEN YOU DO DIE. 

I AM ACTUALLY THINKING OF VISITING THIS TOWN MORE OFTEN.

'That sounds... ominous. Do you visit many people when they're not dying?'

NOT USUALLY, JUST ON NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCES, AND MANY DO NOT SEEM TO REMEMBER MY VISITS. HOWEVER I AM THINKING ABOUT MAKING IT MORE OF A HABIT. VISITING PEOPLE THAT IS. NOT ON BUSINESS OF COURSE, SIMPLY TO TRY AND UNDERSTAND LIFE AND THE LIVING BETTER. IT MIGHT MAKE ME BETTER AT MY JOB AND MAYBE PEOPLE WOULD FEAR ME LESS.

'I think that would be a good idea. I mean, I fear death like I fear fire, the sea, pretty girls and starting conversations. But, somehow, I'm enjoying talking to ya.'

He chuckles a bit, THAT IS AN... INTERESTING LIST OF FEARS. 

'Is it? Oh yeah, I forgot one. Sunlight. You know that thing when you stay out and you go red, what's it called, like sunburn? Like, yuck, no thanks. Same with suntans. I'd rather stay a healthy shade of deathly pallid'

I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED A SUNTAN. LIGHT SEEMS TO AVOID ME. Death is always a healthy shade of deathly pallid being a skeleton and all.

'I wish that were the case for me. Instead, I have to avoid it. But living down here is good. Like, this place is basically my natural habitat. And I'm a half-elf, so apparently this isn't normal'

Flint is fishing rags out of the filthy water and piling them up to make a sort of chair-blanket-nest thing for himself
