  Sie's intentions with Flint are not vitality-draining.

Flint is glad that Sie does not have any bad intentions towards him. He wants to trust them, but he also cares enough about his self-preservation to have had to check. 'Ya know, it's nice having a neighbour. Not too many people wanna live down here'

"And with that one," Sie points at Sterling, "I don't think the Surface World is safe too much."

'No comment on Sterling, as I like to stay out of stuff like that, but yeah, it is a lot safer down here. Especially if ya know ya way around. Hey, do you have a map of this place?'

Flint hands Sie a map of the sewers. It contains pretty much everything, except for a few secret tunnels that Flint always keeps secret in case of emergencies. There are a bunch of random annotations, all written in his spidery handwriting, declaring the best scavenging spots and 'fun water flumes!'

 "What didn't you understand about Shut up?!" A little rain cloud has formed above his head, like when he first arrived here. He quickly waves his hands, trying to get rid of it.

Flint stands under the water cloud, which cleans off some of the grime.

Sie stops singing to say "Thank you" then resumes.
