'Is there anything I can do to help you? I mean, I'm really not the strongest' he flexes his almost non-existent bicep, 'but if there's anything I or the rats could do to help, then I would. You're not scared of rats, are you? I'd say make better pals than most people.'

'I quite agree. Resourceful little creatures, aren't they. Never let anything go to waste. But for some reason, I get funny looks from the surface-dwellers if they see me robbing the dead or searching the trash. Don't know why.'

'Surface people are so weird. Plus, they actually seem to like bright light. I mean, that's one thing if you're human, but when you've got Darkvision, isn't that a sign you're meant to live in the shadows? Not that my Darkvision is the reason I live down here, of course'

'You know how long I've been living in sewers? My whole life. I was raised by rats. And the voice in my head. Is it normal to have a voice in your head?'

'Mine's called the Third. He taught me everything I needed to know that the rats couldn't teach. But he's not one of those voices that tell you to kill. I don't have those.'
