'Humanity is not perfect, not by a long shot. It could do with being a lot better, but I'm kinda glad it's not perfect by default. Otherwise, where would be free will, and with no free will, nobody can consciously choose good, so they cannot truly be good. Thus, paradox!'

You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.
'Thanks to my connection with the Third, I've got a bit of an affinity with all these old legends. Some are pretty cool! And never without a profound statement!'
*Minecraft can actually be used for decent lore, if you interpret things in different ways. One of the beauties of the game is you can fill in your own lore or what everything is. In fact, much of my earlier world building took place on Minecraft, so I just transferred my interpretations of Minecraft lore over into D&D*
"I'd love to hear more in the future! I've always been more interested in science and practical magic than the gods and legends, but you've intrigued me."
*That's super cool! Sounds much more productive than my minecraft experience, I spent most of my time getting lost in caves and 'horse diving' (where you ride horses off cliffs until one of you dies)*
'Sure, I'd be happy to tell ya some more legends!'
*I played way too much Minecraft until life got in the way, where I guess I learned to make lore and world-build. Like single-player D&D I guess. I always imagined that the Nether was the insides of a huge creature, why else would the 'stone' there look so pinkish-red? And some of the canon lore is very dark- don't think about Soul Sand and Soul Soil for too long...*

'There was one legend I heard as a kid, but I heard it off a drunken old storyteller and I think he'd gotten a lot of it wrong. I could tell you it, and maybe you might know the original version?'

*Oh god, your Nether theory makes too much sense for comfort*

'Ok, it sounds stupid, but it was one of my favourite stories. I called it Donut Story. It was about a small metal donut, that for some reason, was very dangerous. A little man had it, and did not know it was dangerous, but one day, the wizard over the hill came and told him of the Donut's evil powers. The Donut could not just be eaten though, to be destroyed, they had to go and throw it into a volcano! The little man and his boyfriend then set off to the nearest volcano, encountering many trials and tribulations along the way, but eventually succeeded, and the Donut was thrown into the volcano. There was also some big subplot about a massive war, but I never remembered that bit as a kid, and I don't think the storyteller was bothered to go into the details'

"Oh! I did actually hear about this one, a bard I met at a tavern told it to me. If I recall correctly the little man was also being stalked by a weird fish eating man child, who for some reason really wanted the donut, which doesn't make much sense when he only eats fish."

*it does. The nether quartz could be its sort of skeleton, its ore does look like bone poking through flesh...*

'Yeah, that is weird, I kinda remember that guy. For some reason, I used to relate to him. Can't think why'
