Flint is meditating somewhere underneath the Store

Lil walks in, carrying a bundle of clothes. "Hey Flint! Norward said I might find you down here, he still sounds a little scared of you." 

'Most people are, until they get to know me. What brings you down here, to this lovely subterranean paradise?'

"Well, you know those clothes we found in the sewers the other day? You seemed to like them, so I tried my best to fix them up for you. Sorry it's a bit of a scruffy job. But I wanted to do something to thank you, you and Ash have been so nice to me."

She hands Flint the bundle of clothes, which consists of a patched-up pair of trousers, a few pairs of darned socks, and a purple shirt that has clearly been dyed not too long ago.

'Aww, thanks Lil! Those are amazing! Ya didn't have to though, but oh my goodness, I love them! They're not scruffy at all!'

"Aw, you don't have to say that. They really aren't very tidy, but they'll keep you warm. And sorry if the purple isn't your thing, all I could find to dye it with was some beetroot peelings."

'Ya think I care about whether they're tidy or not? Newsflash- I'm a scavenger raised by rats! That is one inventive use of beetroot peelings, that's for sure!'

"Good point. I'm nothing if not a perfectionist though, it kills me to do anything badly. I'm not sure if Norward was so keen on me using the beetroot, he gave me a few weird looks when I was digging it out of the bin."

'Yeah, he's kinda not used to us, is he? But what better way is there to dye a shirt? I mean, mine are all sorta brownish now, but I don't think that's the colour they originally came in.'

"Well he'll have to get used to us at some point, I don't plan on leaving anytime soon, and you have a whole tavern here! I think brown's a great colour, but now at least you'll have another option."

'Yeah! Maybe purple does suit me? Hey, ya know that monster that was down here? I'm kinda friends with it now!'

"I think you'll look great in purple! And that's great, I'm glad it's stopped causing trouble, although if it ever tries anything to hurt you or Ash again I'll have to have a word with it. What's it's name?"

'His name's Visk'ulig. He's actually okay, I don't think he meant to cause all the destruction that he did. Apparently, the years of living alone amidst the filth and darkness had kinda eroded his people skills. Which strangely enough, I can kinda understand'

"Fair enough, I mean, I've lived up on the surface my whole life and I barely have any people skills to speak of."

'Ya got decent people skills, ya able to hold a conversation with me? Then again, mine ain't so good either'
