Lilith also tries to stand up, very nearly falling off but managing to awkwardly balance on her feet. She laughs loudly, clearly loving the experience.
They are swept by the current through the gates and down a steep, slippery pipe, the waters raging around them. At the bottom, there is a huge cistern with a whirlpool leaving downwards, and you can see various pieces of debris being sucked down

"If you say so!" She clings even tighter to her board, and let's herself be washed down the whirlpool.
Eventually, they are both sucked down the dark, dank pit at the bottom of the whirlpool. The drop seems to go on forever, until you plunge into a pool of scummy water. Looking around, you seem to be in some sort of cave, filled with lakes such as the one you are in. The other ones are not polluted, and glow an ethereal blue

'This is the Cave of Cerulea. Home to a town of elves! I think they've got some kind of festival going on at the moment! Plus, they do excellent drinks!'
In the distance, you can see a small town on the edge of one of the lakes, with the soft glow of lanterns lighting up the cavern. There are lots of blue-skinned, black-haired elves milling around, and the atmosphere looks very happy

Up ahead of them, the current seems to be speeding up, through a pair of floodgates marked 'Emergency Overflow'
