AJ dives underwater and uses the rest of his sandwich to coat the kelp. He then goes perfectly still, letting the fish and crabs gather to pull apart/eat the kelp with food on it.

He jettisons to the surface again with a gasp of air. AJ shakes the water from his hair. “See? Survivability.”
