There is a bamboo forest somewhere, there is a music studio, a mind flayer's therapy room, one or two doctor offices, a gothic bell tower with a gargoyle living in it, a dungeon I think, a hot tub, a garden somewhere. I think Flint has dug a trash heap into the ground to live in.

 Well now there is a river on one side of the land. Everyone just now seems to notice it. There seems to be some commotion going on near it

The hulking stone figure of the gargoyle ambles in that direction. He moves on all fours, almost like a gorilla, and he has curled horns and wings folded against his side.

The gargoyle sees a lady water genasi in the river looking for something.

"What are you looking for?" The gargoyle says in a voice that sounds like several stones being smashed together.

"Oh..Hello. I'm looking for my ring. I dropped it in the river here. It has a black sapphire on it and I really don't want to lose it."

"Would you like me to help? I can sniff out different types of stone, so I may be of assistance."

'Did someone lose a ring? I'm pretty good at finding them. I mean, usually when I find them, they're on the rotting fingers of their dead owner, but still...'

"oh!" she blushes "Yes I would love some help. But please don't disrupt the animals in here. "

'Oh, I won't. Wait, what animals?'

Flint's already pallid face drains almost completely of colour 'Fish? Like, living, breathing, slimy fishes, ready to bite and slither and... I don't like fish'

 "Oh don't be a grumpy snail. Come on" she comes out of the water and grabs Flint's arm. "They're harmless. Well- most of the time"

'Most of the time? Fish are yuck! Please don't make me go in the water!' But it is already too late.

The girl casts Water Breathing on Flint.

'What in the Ten Temples? I'm in the river?! I'm actually in the river?! And I can breathe?!'

 She raises a finger to Flint's mouth. You see her go "shhh"

Flint thinks his water breathing is cool, and would have been so helpful in his life as a sewer scavenger. But he's not a fan of the fish

 Make a perception check to try and find the ring.
