They spread their propaganda far and wide. I was in a bad place, having been kidnapped and imprisoned by pirates, so the things they claimed seemed to hold up. I tried to remove my own human nature, becoming a perfectly moral machine with no other thought than bringing retribution on the guilty, including myself. But my sister, she got me out of it, showed me how to trust in humanity, and now the implants are mostly deactivated'
