Ella now believes that she may have these powers, and can't stand that she could lead to many deaths, and be in general used for terrible things.

'Oh, come on, just because you might get some blood on your hands doesn't mean you have to feel guilty. You're evil, half the world is evil, just own it'

She starts to hyperventilate and tremble, as well as profusely sweat

'What's wrong? Your conscience turning against you? Time to turn against it'

She tries to get a handle on herself, taking deep breaths and pacing back and forth but it barely helps, partially because Cato is being a jerk.

''Yes, yes, come to terms with it. It's the only way you can be truly honest about what you are

"Scre- Screw you please just...Just stop, please. Just for one moment, would you not."

'Ok, I'll stop. Don't want to drive you crazy'

He stops and sits down

Ella continues to pace until she's stabilized "Thank you, Jim."

'No problem, Ella'

(Just realized something, so Ella is meant to develop more powers as the story goes on, and I just realized what I  got that idea from. I used to be a big SCP nerd and one of them is called "The Crusader Kid" Or something like that, but he's a young boy who has multiple powers, accidentally copied an SCP on the SCP RP, still gonna roll with it) "So, you said I lifted you off the ground or something, do you think I could do that on command?"

'You did it when you cried. It's probably linked to emotion'

"Course, I can't even do that right."

'You do realise what that would mean. The more scared you are, the more you suffer, the more powerful you will be. The more useful you may be'

"You think they'll torture me? I'm human, I have rights they can't do that."

'Rights don't exist here. International and national laws don't apply. And anyway, even if they did, they would probably find a way of arguing that you are not human'

"They can't do that, that's like four different war crimes. They can't punish a specific group, that's forbidden in the Geneva Convention"

'Didn't you hear me? Nobody down here follows the Geneva Convention. They're all about as ethical as I am. And I once turned a priest into a human pull pinata'

"You need help."

'I don't think I do. It would be counterintuitive'
