A young man with a large book is sitting on a bench outside the morgue, eating an oversized blueberry waffle off of a paper plate.
He looks up at the stars, then the book, then the door to the morgue.
a woman wearing nothing but undergarments walks out, looking more like a dead body then anything else. she sees the man, walks up to him, and says "Tetenus?"
"A friend. Tenetus says he couldn't come. Something about other duties." He stands up and offers her his hoodie. He's pretty big, so it should cover her pretty well.

"Just call me William. I own a restaurant nearby."

she follow him to the restaurant. Liz follows as well, curiosity taking over
The restaurant looks like one of those comfort food and breakfast places, but with spooky undertones. There are plaques and posters detailing urban legends and unnerving historical facts, both categories being restricted to the local area.
He brings her to the back and gets her an employee uniform, all black and orange.

she starts to hold her abdomen, which is growling like a bear "when was the last time this person ate!?"
"Probably less than a day ago. Otherwise, those cavities would have been filled in by the mortician. I'll make you some waffles and bacon. It's almost breakfast time anyway."

That guy who was juggling in the street earlier can be seen stepping out of a library. An absurd amount of books is carried under his arm. He is wearing jeans with a tear on one knee and his long hair is pulled back in a bun. "THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE" is printed across his t-shirt. A backpack is swung over his shoulder and it seems to be packed full.
The bump knocks a few of his books out of his hands. He is able to catch one deftly, before it hits the ground, but some still fall. One of the books is a collection of insect photography, another is Hamlet by Shakespeare, and a third is a collection of Russian folktales. He apologizes and scrambles to collect his fallen books.
