Ishal is by Zeem's side within the moment and brings his spear into the bears fur and flesh. The bear roars again and fights against Ishal and Zeem with all it's might before slowly going slack.
Zeem takes of their belt after it stops fighting, and puts it in a small bag on their side. “What are you going to do with the body?”
"It is a cardinal sin to leave anything behind. We will cut the edible meat off of it to use for food, using the inedible for our dogs and wolves. We will use the bones to fashion weapons and beads and the teeth for decoration. The fur will be used to keep us warm during the winter months and the skin will be tanned and used for blankets."
“Could I have a tooth from it?”
"Of course." He said and smiled.
A few of his followers ran out from the woods as Ishal turned from human into mountain lion, his human body becoming sleek and agile with tan fur. His followers heaved the bears carcass on top of his body and kept it steady with ropes.
“Thanks. I’d feel bad if I didn’t honor my defeated opponent.”
"I completely understand that and I fully agree." He said and smiled, his whiskers twitching "Thank you Zeem. Your help means a lot to us."
“I’m happy to help!” They grab a small stone from the ground.

"Nonsense. Come now." Maul, the short haired one says and takes him by the arm. All three lead him to a fire and begin to make preparations for the fish, corn and beans. Baskets upon baskets of such things are brought in by fishers and farmers.
Maul begins to pluck off kernels and then uses a stone to pound those kernels into flour. She takes the corn flour and water and begins to mix both together with a handful of sun dried cranberries.
Regorn begins to gut and carve the fish into fillets. She sets them on top of a flat rock that sits by the fire, hot from the heat of the flames. The sound of sizzling flesh is heard.
Atouk begins to cook the beans by setting them in a clay pot along with some water and other herbs. She sets the pot over top of the fire and occasionally stirs it.
He watches the process uneasily. "We don't have fire where I'm from. We have to use other heat sources." He looks up at the sky to see what time it is.
"I... I think I should go. I'm really not hungry, and I have work to do."
"Please do stay. We do not cook for others besides our own often and it is a great gift to be doing so today." Maul says and smiles warmly.
He takes a minute to consider. "I... sure. But pardon me if I do not eat."
Maul nods again and begins to chitter with Atouk and Regorn in ways that sound like a birds tongue and a chipmunks noise.
The man looks deeply uncomfortable, both physically and emotionally. His clothes are too hot for a place where the sun brings warmth in the day, and he can't take off his hat or he'll get burned fairly quickly. He stares at the gound, wondering if he's about to be killed for some unknown crime.
Regorn notices his unease and stands up "Talk with us my friend. We are here chatting in our native tongue but we have left you out." She said and smiled "Please, tell us about yourself."
He nods. "I am Grant. I live in the Sunless City, and I was one of the Fathers of Okrponosc. We wanted protection from the madness inside, so we reached out to darker forces. We are... sacred, in a sense, but also cursed. Okrponosc sees us as its family, as it sees all mortal creatures. We have been marked by the wretched thing, and no one but me realizes it. Okropnosc uses love and fear in equal measure, and is a perverse entity that I doubt even qualifies as a god.
I need to fix my mistake. The monster's actions must be undone. All of it."
"Yes! I dream of an advanced society of people, making their dreams real, advancing technology and life quality beyond what currently seems possible. People getting all they desire..."
“Wow! That sounds amazing! I wonder what my people dream of…”
"Would you like me to see?"
“Yes! I would love that!”
She smiles "Bring me to them, or bring them to the pond"
“Okay!” They draw a circle on the ground, runes surrounding the inside of the ring. They step back from it after a moment. “Here! Step into here and you’ll be right by my house!”
She walks on the water of the pond, before floating into the circle
She appears next to a simple stone house with a slanted wooden roof. A few humans are standing around it, doing whatever Archfey or Dutch decides I think?
*Should I wait, then?*
