*RP is 100% the priority :)). Collecting followers is 100% optional and just gives more power. If youre completely fine with the demigod(or maybe even minor god after a couple days) power level, its easy to just ignore getting followers*

Zidan is preparing a festival in honor of Kila and his gift of fire and ascension to intermediate god. This time, instead of sending couriers, since they were exhausted last time, he sends singing paper birds made from event guides.
Okropnosc is deciding on whether to go to the party or not, since this seems like a good time to try and talk to Kila, but at the same time he really didn't enjoy the last party.

*Just assume you are in an entirely new world with its own history. There are about 213 pages that you've missed, and it would take hours to describe what happened. I'll tell you what I've got, though.
Koszmar is dead, killed by the fire/light god Kila (you get an additional domain when you ascend to intermediate god).
Okropnosc is the god of nightmares and lives in a sunless city. His existence is... controversial among other gods, because he has good intentions, but is also a god of fear and darkness.
Zidan is the god of decadence and progress. He currently runs on blood sacrifice (mostly fish) to remain alive, but the god of Arcana is making an artifact that should help. Zidan is undead and was formerly a human foreman and inventor before he was killed by Koszmar. He's been dead for a long while and holds frequent feasts and festivals, so he might be a good person to catch Ashkhorne up.*
