"Alright, lets do this." he mumbles. He then walks up to them. "hey! Can i help you fellas?"
One steps forward, seeming to be the leader of this squad. "We're looking for a fugitive. Qe have reason to believe they snuck into this town with refugees from our city."
"look man, i'm all about peace or whatever, but this doesn't look like peace. i mean you guys look like walking lab experiments."
"It could be dangerous. This is simply safety gear." They say, tapping the firearm in their belt
He looks at the firearm. "oooh, i hoped we wouldn't come to that..." he says, clenching his fists.
"It won't need to come to that if you step aside and let us do our job." He says firmly
"Can't let ya do that." he says. He then shoots a web at the firearm, throwing it aside and trying to tie up the leader. Make a STR save
24 or 17 whichever is higher.
The web just impedes his movement slightly. "Heh, this is fine." he then launches himself at multiple of the people.

The first two attacks miss, though the third connected and the fourth hits the one distracted by venom hard

A smaller group of people, seeming refugees, come into town, looking worse for wear than ever. As they wall through town, one of the members towards the back of the group stumbles over their foot, tripping and smacking into the dirt road, weakly attempting to get up before their arms give out. They're dressed in tattered rags, a hood pulled up over their head made of something similar to a burlap sack
Anasta looks over and tilts her head. "Now what is this all about?"
The short figure, likely a kid, curls up on the ground, coughing into their arm as the group leaves then behind, more focused on getting someplace safe

"Well there are a few different churches here but I can take you to mine"
