A smaller group of people, seeming refugees, come into town, looking worse for wear than ever. As they wall through town, one of the members towards the back of the group stumbles over their foot, tripping and smacking into the dirt road, weakly attempting to get up before their arms give out. They're dressed in tattered rags, a hood pulled up over their head made of something similar to a burlap sack
Anasta looks over and tilts her head. "Now what is this all about?"
The short figure, likely a kid, curls up on the ground, coughing into their arm as the group leaves then behind, more focused on getting someplace safe

Alex crouches down next to her "are you alone?"
"U-uhuh." She nos softly, "Th.... the man in a mask said to go to the church."
"Well there are a few different churches here but I can take you to mine"
She nods, looking back towards ye edge of town, "Yes please."

After a while of slogging through the muck, they reach a small, relatively dry chamber. Sunlight shines down through a grate in the ceiling, and it is reasonably warm.

'Well, when I say hot tub, it's a tank of wastewater from the bath house, the water is lovely and warm but, well, it is just a load of used bathwater and I think a couple toilets empty into it as well. So not fancy. But it is lovely and warm'
