Oswald Grouper is sitting on a tree stump while his machines work at chopping more down. A large parked vehicle is grinding the trees into biofuel, which is then fed back into his automatons. His cigar smoke smells nothing like regular tobacco.
Kristina looks over, tilting her head. She marvels at the machine, taking notes discreetly.
The tree-choppers are designed ergonomically and likely can be modified to suit just about any task a human could do. Their vaguely humanoid design helps, but it occurs to her that this sort of raw machinery would be difficult to balance so that it could actually walk.

Kristina instantly gets many ideas. She snaps her fingers as her Modrons bring over rolls and rolls of graph paper. She begins to sketch out ideas for more center-weighted tree choppers.
"Yup. Factory district. As the person who convinced the council to actually let me build here, I get to start construction. I'm hoping to bring electric power to this city at the same time, killing two birds with one stone."

"Sanitation is important, but electricity powers up everything attached to it. It's nice to be paid by the city and all, but I make my money by selling what people want, not what they need."

Kristina smiles politely before making a few more sketches and handing them to him. "If you put more weight towards the center, it would be able to move freely without always ending up on the ground. Combine that with a slightly heavier axe head and you can fell the tree in one chop while making it faster."
Lore appears behind him and hugs him. "Hello there." She says cheerfully.
Jackson is asleep in the library, laid on on the sofa.
Kristina is outside, tinkering with a mechanical arm.
Theren smiles a bit and sets down the axe. "Hey." he says, voice slightly muffled by his scarf.
Phoenix looks over with a smile.
Leo walks over. "Neat. Whats it for?"
*Pm? also how are you?*
"Cold?" She asked, chuckling a bit.
Jack stirs before cracking open an eye. He mumbles and hugs Phoenix's legs. "Hey.."
Kristina looks up and smiles "Bodies!" She says cheerfully.
"A bit." he says, lowering the scarf and smiling a bit. "I dont like the cold."
"Hey there. You ok?"
"I.. out of context thats kinda disturbin."
"It's not that cold." She said and tilted her head, smirking.
"Tired. So many jobs, very little time." He chuckles.
"Oh, right. That's bad to say without context. I make bodies... No that sounds much worse." She says and thinks for a moment. "I make fake bodies and appendages."
Lore appears behind him and hugs him. "Hello there." She says cheerfully.

"Fair points, all." He takes a drag on his cigar. He cracks his gloved fingers. "These machines aren't specialized, and aren't advanced enough to be multi-purpose either. Your contributions will help lead to a better machine, and thus a society, and I thank you for that." He doesn't sound very sincere, but that could just be how he sounds.

*Get good Texas. Be like us in Rhode Island.*
"Indeed." She grins and takes his scarf.
"I know I should but supernatural calls combined with College lectures seem to enjoy taking my time away."
'Well, that sounds pretty awesome! We could do with some electricity!'
"That you could. Don't expect that Direct Current [GP], though. That's for cowards. Anyone who wants power will use Alternating Current, and they will like it, dammit."

"Then get a substitute for the lectures."
"Ah..cool! Im a mechanic myself. Mind if i help?"

'Cool! More city?'
You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.
