He raises an eyebrow, "What, expecting some burn scars or mauling scars?"
"I was thinking... Orc or Oni." She chuckles, brushing her black hair behind her ear.
He smirks, "Well unfortunately I was a half elf." He says, cracking his neck
"Was?" She asked and tilted her head again "Does that imply your are undead?"
"No. but much like you, I've had my blood tampered with over the years. Not voluntarily, but still" He sighs
"Hm.. So what was added to you?" She asked, staring at him "And what's with your eyes? Looks like your on Dream lily"
"The first 15 years of my life were spent being turned into a hag heir." He taps the odd crown still circling his head, "This is a witches turn. And my eyes are a side effect."
"Hm.." she thinks for a moment before gasping "HEXBLOOD!" she said with a grin
"Ding ding ding" He days with a slight smile, "I've got the magical power of pulling my teeth out." He says sarcastically,
"That's horrible" she chuckles "Doesn't it hurt?"
"Eh, its not pleasant. It doesn't hurt per say, but it makes me feel like I'm constantly rotting" He says, rubbing the back of his neck
"Is there anything i can do to help you?" She asked and smiled "I know what its like to feel yucky all the time because of something you were forced to meld with. If there is anything i can do to help... just say it" she dangles her legs off the side of the building.
"That's nice of you, but there isn't really a cure for my existence." He smiles softly, "On the upside, I atleast got some actually useful tricks from it"
"Eh.. I suppose. At least you don't have a hunger for other people." she chuckled again.
"Fair, we each got our hard to deal with downsides" He says, lightly nudging her, "Though I think yours is cooler than mine"
"Ha!" she laughs "No... not really. Hexbloods have better traits then some Lycan..." She rolls her eyes "Much rather be something else than being infected with this wolf virus in me"
"I mean, we get some magic. But for the most part it's just tearing out our teeth, fingernails, and hair." He says, "And you atleast look human usually. I couldn't get rid of the turn if I wanted to"
"Still." She said and waved her hand "Still think you got the better end of the deal" she grins, baring her sharp teeth.
He shrugs, "I dunno. I can't speak on your experience, but being prepped was very painful." He sighs, "Though I'd imagine being turned into a lycan would be too"
"Yeah..." she said and stared at her hands "Friend of mine lost his mind after he was bit and then he bit me..." She sighed and ties back her hair, centering herself "But I made the best of it I suppose."

A rattle can be heard beneath the floors of the tavern. Suddenly, moving through the ground as though it didn't exist, a skeletal creature rises, floating in the air. A close look reveals ethereal flesh and fur, but hugs so close to the bones that it's barely visible. The entity wears nothing but a tattered, grey longcoat, and looks like something between a Wendigo and an Oni. Small objects start to levitate as its glowing orange eyes dart about wildly.

It looks around for the source of the noise. It then lunges for Miranda before suddenly arcing midair and tearing into someone's lunch instead.
