You notice he is also wearing a chain mail shirt made of keys over a green tunic, brown trousers, and a cloak made of many small bits of fabric patched together. "Why thank you. It is my royal crown of kingship." 

'Who ya the king of?'

Neki is digging through a nearby dumpster, looking for something.

Nehir (A cat) is laying on a table in the tavern, appreciating a sunbeam

'Hey, what ya looking for?' Flint says to Neki. 'Something in particular, might be able to help ya'

 “A heirloom. My ma’s brooch to be specific. I lost it when I first came to the tavern, but no one has been of help yet.” 

'Oh, I thought ya were, ya know, just kinda scavenging. I'd be more than happy to be of help!'

He yeets himself into the dumpster and searches for it

 “O-Oh. I didn’t think you would jump into the dumpster, being that it’s full of trash.”

”Well, since you are helping me, I should introduce myself. I’m Neki (pronounced Nikki) and I’m new to this area.”

Neki is wearing an oversized gray hoodie and pants. He has shoulder height brown hair, dark red skin, and two horns that curl like a rams. He also has a tail poking out a hole in his pants.

*Neki is a femboy btw.*

'Do I look like the kinda guy to be grossed out by a bit of trash?'

'I'm Flint, by the way. I live in the local sewers'

He grins, "Well, I looked around and saw that there were a lot of small minor kings that governed countless little kingdoms and I realized that nobody was king of the world yet. I decided to claim the territory as my own and have proclaimed myself to be the sovereign king of everything, and I have the crown to back it up."

'So, ya made that crown then? It's pretty neat'

"I wasn't actually the one that made it. It was given to me by a clan of goblins. And yes, it is very neat."

'A clan of goblins? Where? I've seen a couple in my time'

“That explains your enthusiasm to jump in, sorry about that.” 

Neki starts to dig around in the dumpster again, being careful not to make Flint fall.

”So if you don’t mind me asking, how is life in the sewers?”

'It suits me pretty well! Apparently it's not for everyone, but it's kinda the only life I've ever known. I mean, peace and quiet, great for swimming, nice and cool and shady, plenty of flotsam to salvage and sell, what more would ya want?'

"It was off in the sewers of some distant kingdom. The goblins were plagued by a vile ruler and I managed to overthrow him." he shrugs, "A little rebellion is in the past of all kings. They crowned me as the new goblin king and I decided that I wouldn't settle for just a little goblin kingdom."

'You lived in the sewers too? Epic, mate!'
