“Makes sense, but you could use an enchantment if you really wanted metal, or some other metallic alternative. I’m sure there’s something. It would probably be expensive, though.”
"I've got the money, it's the magic I'm lacking. My flesh is particularly weak, and just about any magic running through it can have drastic effects. I have to custom-make everything that goes into my body. Fortunately, I'm good at it."

“Is your body weak for the same reason as your lungs were? Or a different reason? What effect does magic have?” He take a notebook from his bag, ready to write things down.

"I was born with only a partial soul. My body was... not the best because of it. Magic can burn my flesh if it isn't properly channeled first. My family had dragon blood, but I couldn't use any of the magic because of my weakness. Eventually, the gift died in me."

“Interesting… it’s similar to what happened to me, or well, not the magic burning you part, the partial soul. Not exactly the same, especially since you’ve had it since birth, but similar.”

“After a few years, I made a clock that helped me keep my soul together by reversing time. It’s still faulty and breaks every once in a while, which is quite the unpleasant experience.”

"Nice idea, but clocks are art pieces, not machines. Well, they're both, but they function more as the first than the second. But this is magic, and while I am versed in the arcane, soul magic is something I've avoided learning as much as possible. Maybe a clock is the only way. I don't know. If this were basic mechanics, it would be too simple, wouldn't it?"

“Based on my experiments, clocks, watches, and other time telling devices are the best items to infuse with time magic.”

"Makes sense. Magic relies on symbols, does it not? Skulls for necromancy, bells for conjuration, clocks for chronomancy."
*Dude, I love playing Yuri. She is someone who can I can do easily play because of her style. She is a woman who is used to getting what she wants. She is beautiful, which she uses to manipulate men and women. She is cold sometimes when challenged or, in Oswald's case, easily calmed down because of people like her. I can already tell she is gonna be a clingy one to Oswald.*
*He also fits so perfectly with how I play her because she isn't used to people standing up to her so when she meets her match, she tries to find an opening to take them down but he has none so she's like "WELL CRAP."*
*He actually did give her a pretty big opening: his ego. I decided while making him that that would be his biggest weakness. He can back up his pride with wealth and power, but his ego is both huge and fragile. He threw a fit when Yuri kept smiling. I actually had to take a breather because I had gotten so into character that I was seething. Between "funny, real funny" and "sure, fine, we can talk," he was about to go ballistic. He is a mad scientist with way, way too much power, and because he "earned" every bit of it he's going to use it however he wants.*
*It's so fun RPing with you! Oswald has been my favorite character for a long time. In all honesty, his original character sheet never got past level 11, but I loved him to death so I keep trying to use him everywhere.*
*Here's what we ended on, to give you an idea of how it went down*
