I'm thinking of creating a new character, inspired from the iconic Doomguy from the DOOM franchise. Though I'm having difficulty choosing what race he would be. He's a Barbarian, for sure, but would he be an Orc? An Aasimar? A Fallen Aasimar? I want to know what you all think! How would you perceive this demon murderer if he existed in the world of D&D?
Hello!
I did a similar thing in the past and made him a human revenant from the Gothic Heroes UA, though I made him an oath of vengeance paladin.
I don't suggest taking that route for balance reasons, instead, I think you should make him a scourge aasimar.
Literally.Funking.Crazy.Arse.Human.
This. Doomguy should be a Chaotic Neutral human who never speaks and expresses himself only through disappointment and pants-shitting rage.
"The Epic Level Handbook wasn't that bad, guys.
Guys, pls."
Should be Multiclassed with Ranger to get Favored Enemy (Fiends).
But he has qualities in line with Blood Hunter....
