'Tree? Forest?'

"Tree sound right. I lived on top of tree before I met goddess."

'And the goddess told you to leave the trees and go live down here? That's one smart goddess'

"She is smartest goddess, our Raven Queen is knowing of all things"

'Why does she want you to go live down here?'

"We have had it well for long times. We must know true adverse times to be grateful and to strengthen worship to her."

'Ya call this adverse? Man, it's lovely down here! So quiet and peaceful and cosy'

"I finds it okays, but many of our church are nobles."

'Oh, they're not gonna like this then! They been whinging? 'Eww, there's poop on my robes!'' he laughs. 'It's gonna take a lot of getting used to, that's for sure! How are you guys planning to survive? Ya got a food supply, or just gonna eat whatever rotten food gets dropped in?'

"We brought a few days of rations, but wes gotta learn to gather for ourselves."

'Have fun gathering down here. Ya could always dredge the channels for rags and any saleable junk, and buy bread with it?'

"Goods idea."

'That way, these surface-dwelling noblemen aren't likely to get sick in the first day of getting down here. I mean, I'd swim in filth, sleep in filth, wear filthy clothes, but I'd think twice before I ate anything I found down here, unless I was desperate. And I haven't been desperate in a long time, thank goodness'

"Yes. This mission trip will be good."

'I'm sure it will! You bringing much stuff with you? How civilised is this monastery gonna be?'

"They are great peoples, you will not bothered by them. We bring one spare clothing and three day ration for each person." 

'That's it? So, ya gonna be sleeping on the floor then? That's hardcore!' He seems impressed

"Children get more food, and bedroll though."

'You're bringing kids down here? Also, old rags and tarpaulins can make a good nest if ya need somewhere to sleep. It's what I do. Yes, I have a nest, not a bed'
