Something is looking through a window from outside the cabin. It seems to be a deer, but it seems… wrong somehow. It’s hard to tell from here, but it seems to be dripping some sort of liquid, as if it was melting.

*sigh* A couple of days ago we lost rose. Something took her. We never knew much about where she came from, but... We've sent out search teams, but nothing. When she disappeared, an entity showed up. I was hoping tracking the sightings on a map would help, but they're all willy-nilly. No nest or home that it returns to.

“Tell me about the sightings. Anything about them in common?”

Take a look at the map. It follows a pattern, a shape, a route. And today It should be *places a blue thumbtack on the map* there.

“So assuming it always follows this pattern, you know around where it should be at all times?”

“Well if there’s some sort of creature that likely killed someone, then I wouldn’t want to risk going out. Well, actually, it would probably be good to learn about this creature… so maybe.”
