“Interesting. Why wouldn’t you be used to names?”

'None of us had names'

“Oh. W-Well, have you ever thought about giving yourself a name?”

'Well, nah. I'm C-33, it would be weird being anything else'

“Nice to meet you C-33. How is my leg coming along?”

'It's doing pretty well, I think. Almost done, just gotta make sure it's fully waterproofed.'

The leg isn’t waterproofed at all, but water resistant. It looks like it could easily be made waterproof.

”Thank you for helping me with this. I don’t know how much longer I could’ve lasted out there.”

'Nah, not a problem. Now let's try get into this base. I've heard it's pretty similar to the base I grew up in, so it should be pretty decent'

“Are we sneaking in?”

Sophia stands up and paces, testing if her robotic leg works again.

'Nah, I guess we got to announce our presence, or they'll shoot us on sight, which really is not the ideal outcome'

He knocks on the entrance

“Good point.”
Sophia undoes her hair and puts the hairpin in her pocket.

'What's that for?'

“Oh I like my hair down, and I could use the hairpin for picking locks if they need me to.” 

'That makes sense. Though I guess we're probably going to have our hair shaved off or something anyway. My old base never did that, but I reckon quite a lot do'

“I’ve heard that they don’t do that to women. Or at least they used to not. I couldn’t dream of losing my hair.”

Sophia shudders

'Yeah, same.'

*I think we would need to wait for Nolkiss to continue.*

Sophia knocks on the door to the entrance.

”Anyone there?”

The door opens and they are ushered in by 4 guards.

'Hey, this looks just like the East Michigan base'
