A sword lies on a beach as a young man, maybe 20 or so, picks it up. This was the greatest mistake he could have made. The moment his finger tips touch the hilt of the blade, a dark chain wrapped around his arm. Now possessed by the blade. That blade was Calibur. The old one of arcana and treachery
*it seems the crown of Slaughter may have a competitor for being a super powerful possessive artifact*
A Herionidian watches him from farther from the shore, writing down what he’s seeing in a journal.
”this’ll make an even better chapter in my memoir…”
He sees it flex it’s muscles, as if it’s unused to have a body
Newly manifested in this world? Has possessed bodies before? he writes down in his book, hoping to answer the question later. He sits up from his crouched position to better observe them.
The sword changes shape. From a short sword to a long sword. Then a dagger. Then an axe. Then finally a cutlass
He writes these down and begins to sketch out the various weapons it shifted into, intrigued. He starts chuckling to himself in excitement.
Finally, it notices him and turns around. The man’s eyes are solid, pitch black. He slowly walks over, though somewhat unsteady
“Probably should have thought this through…” he mutters.
he backs away a few feet from them and nervously waves to them.
”H-hello… what are you?”
“What am I?” It muses “Better question, why am I? Why am I?” It muses once more “To posses. To plunder and kill. Would you like to join me? You seem like a fine fellow.”
“Oh, heh, i’d rather not. I’m a pacifist, follower of Herionidus and all that.”
“Hm. Are you sure? You don’t have to do any killing. Just rally some mortals to my cause. I’ll even teach you a bit of magic.”
“What… kind of magic? Wait, no, that’d be contributing to the cause of murder! But what kind of magic, for… curiosity’s sake?”

*Hey Arch, would it be alright if my final Will starts at level 2 when I’m ready to introduce her? It’s alright if not*
*yeah sure!*
*Awesome. Will still be a bit, I’m only on page 5 of 400 of this thread.*
*that’s gonna take one hell of a while to complete*
*Yep but its really fun. I already have eight Wills documented in just those 5 pages, and none of them are any of the big active players right now*
*ooh, which ones? I remember the Starseer, Herionidus of course, and then also the Red eyed man I think*
*We have the Grim Reaper, Shadow Ivy, Azer, Rioghnach (Rio), Herionidus, Starseer, and two that have been introduced by not named as of page 5. Also, her realm will basically be like the Library from Avatar the Last Airbender mixed with a museum of assorted curiosities, but far darker, mystical, and esoteric*

Visk follows the river for a bit, the music surrounding him joyous and festive as various butterflies and dragonflies flutter around him. The flowers bloom with all manner of colors all vibrant soothing. He looks around for anyone to converse with.

“A way to be a wizard, but with a sword! Imagine if all of those frail wizards, weren’t so frail. Amazing magical capabilities, and impressive defensive skills. It’s a win-win, as the mortals say.”
“Well, that does sound kinda nice. Haven’t met many wizards though. But, for you to teach me, I’d have to do stuff for you?”
“Yep. Recruit some…questionable mortals to my cause, and you're free to go.”
“Well, I’m not sure… I’ve never really wanted to be a wizard in the first place, and that would be helping someone who could go on to kill thousands…”
“Either that, you die or I get a new body.”
“Mm… so I don’t really have much of a choice then, do I?”
“You never did.”
“Great. Alright… guess I’ll work for you then?”
“Good. Betray me and I won’t blame you. But I will find you, cut out your tongue and shove it down your throat.”
“Mm… okay. Okay. Alright. This is fine. So what exactly do you need me to do for you? Like, what should I tell people and…”
“Find all the untrustworthy folk of the world. The thieves and scammers. Pirates and murderers. Tell them of Caliburn. Patron of criminals. They’ll recognize the name. Lead them here and we shall create a grand empire.”
