"What is the next step for your plans? Where do you need to be taken to?" Zeon asks.
The lead rat draws a map in the charred, rocky soil. They draw Savut’s swamp, the city of order, the valley and river of Herionidus, and the entrance to the underworld. They then draw an arrow from the underworld to around the middle of the River Herionidus, in the grassy and lush fields between the swamp and the city, but on the other side of the river from both. No human civilization lives there, save for say, around 500 wandering Herionidians. It’s a perfectly secluded place, surrounded by low hills on two sides and the river on the other two, just on its bend.
Zeon looks over the map, before nodding. "Understood, we can leave when you are ready"

Savut has organized a meeting with Heriondian leaders.
Balatro has animated a couple skeletons, but they are currently little more than shambling beasts.
Gallitsur is (presumably) now inside the city, marveling at its wonders.
There are around ten of them. Each accompanied by a few guards. One of them asks what the purpose of the meeting is.
“Well, as the past few months have indicated, the Gravediggers seem to no longer have any presence in the Valley. My searches conducted on the rim and in the nearby area have concluded that they seem to have left this region entirely.” She explains to the crowd.
“I see…” one of them says.
”We need to regroup, make a plan if they come back…”
”possibly set up some real defenses…”
“Good idea. I can aid you in that regard, and will supply you with any resources I can that you need. HOWEVER…” She grins. “There, uh, just so happens to be a large and hospitable swamp not far west that would be glad to take you in if necessary.”
“If the valley is safe, I don’t see much reason to leave it…”
”it has enough food to feed a million people…”
”if the gravediggers are gone, then we could just stay at our homeland…”
”a swamp could be a fitting new home if we do need to move…”
the other leaders glare at the last one who spoke.
“Well, I just mean that in the case of the vampires’ return, if they come back with greater force, or are planning some dangerous maneuver while in hiding, it may be necessary to leave. Just in case.” Savut is recalling her confrontation long ago with Crotalus and the refugees.
“Alright, that sounds good. We will be allowed to stay at your marsh domain in case we are ever under attack?”
“Of course. The Twilit Swamp is open to all amicable entrants. As it always shall be.”
“Thank you for your kindness. Now… we should probably just check the entire valley To determine what effects the gravedigger’s residence have had on the land…”
“Of course! Take all the time you need. But do you all believe that your people will be able to fare alright when I leave, which will most likely be rather soon? I will, of course, leave behind the stars Tiku gave me to help you fight if the Gravediggers return, and if you deem it necessary I can station a permanent squadron of my troops here.”

*sorry*
after a while, the rats are ready to leave and they gather up their collected things.
*It's all good*
Zeon picks the leader and other rats up and he sprints off back up the stairs with Talric and Aalto holding on and Enki gliding underneath the ground after them.

Once they get out of the underworld, they take a sharp turn south. Even with Zeon’s intense speed, they’ll likely be traveling for at least a few days.
They strap themselves in for a long ride as Zeon heads towards the destination.

After a while, most of the rats, besides the leader, fall asleep.
“That would be wonderful, thank you. And don’t worry, we’ll be fine. The valley brings us enough food and water to sustain tens of millions.”
"Don't you need rest too....." Talric asks the Leader as they are traveling when he realizes he hasn't seen the leader rest the the rest of the rats.

“Well then, I’m off! But, ah, before I leave, I was wondering if I could ask a small favor of you all. And if you refuse, I completely understand.” She says humbly.

“And what is that favor?” Another asks.
The leader looks back at Talric and makes a dismissive gesture with its tiny little rat hands.
*real quick because i realized there are technically two things she would want: how do the herionidians treat the seeds of the Tree?*

Balatro walks over to the Frenzy. “Hey I know you! You’re that guy! What’s the shovel for?”

It does a little rat yawn, and squeaks, which is probably rat for, “fiiiiiiiiiiiiine.” After a while, it closes its eyes, hoping Zeon can find the way by itself.
*Changed my PFP to The Frenzy.* The Frenzy simply stares at Balatro, despite not having a face conveying annoyance "We are working for our herald."
