There are many ravens now, all staring at the crow intently.
"I could ask you the same question, why should I believe your words over another? A creature that suddenly gains more and more intelligence and knowledge? It definitely sounds suspicious. As for being told to scorch you, no one told me to....I said I would protect my children, and I would not allow any harm to them. I had considered rending their very souls to learn the secrets you keep...but I chose not to do so. I gave them a chance to answer me, they stayed silent."
”they didn’t know! They did not have an answer to your question. Why do you suddenly decide to kill them… all of them, with no provocation? something warned of you something? And so you believed them, and as soon as the flock of crows that are barely able to talk cannot answer your question, you kill them? Why immediately believe them either?”
One of the ravens hops onto the same branch as the crow as it talks.
"Why ask a question I have already answered? Why come back here knowing I killed them? What do you hope to gain by getting answers from me? I highly doubt you would trust to be around me, if you believe I was in the wrong. Wouldn't it be safer for you all to remain away from here knowing what i did?" She asks back.
*changing to a different color so it’s easier to read*
”I need answers! If you keep killing us, that’s bad… so I need to convince you not to! Why did you decide to kill us? What came to your attention that lead to that decision?”
She sighs, a bit frustrated as the raven pecks at the crow, showing visions of it's life from an outsiders perspective.
"If you don't come here, I have no reason to kill you. I can't say the same for my neighbors, but I can't control what they do. I am not interested in your master spying on me whether you know its happening or not, something I'm still not convinced about. But i have no interested in the conflicts below."
“We liked this place… but anyways, you must know… what you did was wrong! Assume I am lying to you, but, as I have stated before, you have no reason to believe whoever told you we were spies above us saying we weren’t… so stop killing us…” it coos, pecking the wood of the branch it’s on in between words.
"Noted. As I said, I have no intention of going after the rest of your kind if you stay out of my domain. Believe that or not. If I am wrong, so be it. The actions can not be taken back, you and I both know that." She says, having calmed down. As stated before, she did really like these buggers. But their alarming habit of wanting to attack and eat her people on top of what she has learned, she can't trust without more information that this crows either will not, or can not provide.
The raven next to the crow is covered in unreadable arcane runes after touching the crow.
“just… think about what others Say to you before you believe them… lies are rampant in this world…” the mutated crow flies off, and all of the other crows hiding about the island start to leave as well.
*manipulating characters is so fun! Also what is that bird learning from those runes and pecking the crow?*
*The runes are not comprehensible to the crows, but whenever the raven's touch the crows they get little visions. The visions they comprehend is that something has been watching them live their lives without them ever knowing it, showing very specific memories that are very clearly of themselves. The things beyond their comprehension are typically involving bits and pieces of knowledge about the old wills of the world. Not enough to make anything out, except that something knows things. Lots of things. Lots of things others maybe shouldn't know.*
*I love beings of secrets and forbidden knowledge that mess with things. Also, the irony. Raven spies harrying the crow spies. XD*

*very fun! Also where did the secret knowledge will learn the crows were spies?*
*… ok, I want to RP while I draw desert goblin.* a raccoon is digging through trash
Visk is walking along while humming a little tune, flowers blooming behind him when he hears the digging and looks around.
The raccoon is frozen, looking in the direction of Visk, with a pizza slice in its mouth and several shiny objects. There is no pizza place that uses that dumpster, or anywhere that dumps shiny things into the dumpster. It is unusual to say the least.
"Well hello there little fellow"
The raccoon gets out of the dumpster and walks up to Visk, placing a shiny doodad at his feet
"Oh, is this for me?" Visk says, its long spindly clawed hand picking it up.
The raccoon is sitting like a human and eating the pizza now
*very fun! Also where did the secret knowledge will learn the crows were spies?*
*So fun fact, the arcane constructs were EVERYWHERE in the City of Order. So they saw quite a few things, including a certain conversation between two snakes.*
*The being who knows however will not be doing anything to stop any of that. Volumdremaak still doesn't know who was spying. Just that spying was happening. The being just wanted the spies away before the taking the kingdom into the fold with Xezithic's islands.*
*It the balance I have to keep if I'm playing a will that literally has books on all the wills that document their actions and even their thoughts. She needs to be very hands off. I also don't want to mess with the plans others have unless its with an actual active character like with the Mithril Dragons*
