He sees out of the corner of his eye, a strange humanoid shape. A mergrasper.
Slinker is terrified, and tries to swim away
The mergrasper grasps at him, but reels away as a bright light shines in its eyes. A Flashy-light, or whatever it was called, shines into the water.
'Huh? Who's there?'
Slinker instinctively shades his eyes from the light
No-one answers. a rough hand grasps him, hauling him out of the water.
He sees this:
"Go." He says. "Run."
*Add a little industrialisation to that*
Slinker runs, clutching his wound- the mergrasper has scratched 3 clawmarks into his arm
