In a subtle shift of the smoke's tendrils, Durza appears just out of the flickering flames light. With graceful ease, he settles onto the ground next to the fire, the glow illuminating the contours of his features with an otherworldly allure.
"Evenin', Sir," Durza greets, his voice carrying a soft resonance that harmonizes with the desert's nocturnal serenade. "Mind if I join you by the fire? Seems like the desert's secrets are ripe for unravelin' under this moonlit sky."
*Sorry, I didn't see this.*
Martin looks up from his can of beans and smiles, "I'd be honored to have the company. The desert night can feel awful lonesome out here, cain't it? I have plenty of food to share, would you like a portion?"

Durza offers a nod of appreciation to the stranger by the fire, a faint smile gracing his lips. "Much obliged for the offer, Stranger. A meal shared under the stars is a rare pleasure indeed."
Taking a seat nearby, Durza watches the flickering flames with a quiet sense of contentment, the dance of firelight painting fleeting patterns across the desert sand. "Don't often cross paths with folks out here," he continues, his tone tinged with curiosity. "What brings you to this quiet corner of the world?"

He pulls a hard chunk of bread out and looks around for a flat surface to cut it on. He then grabs a cow patty and uses it as a cutting board to cut off a generous slice of bread and hands it to you. Then he cracks open another can of beans and sets it by the fire to cook. "I was born out here on this sun scorched land. I've been out a-wanderin' all over the world and I've found that I don't quite fit anywhere that ain't got no cactuses and rattlers. I'll allow the only shade I need can come from the wings of the buzzards overhead. I love this land for its peace and I love this land for its danger. I can't imagine bein' anywhere else."

"You're right 'bout that. Ain't no place more honest than this here desert. The sun's a tree-mendous ball o' fire that blasts the earth with its heat. Durza nods in solemn agreement, the firelight casting shadows across his face. "You speak true, Martin. The desert ain't one to sugarcoat the truth. It lays bare the raw essence of life, both its hardships and its wonders, with an unflinching honesty that commands respect." With a thoughtful expression on his face, he reaches into his pocket and retrieves a worn leather-bound journal. He then turns to a page marked by the faint impression of a pressed desert flower.
Clearing his throat, Durza begins to recite the words of a poem penned by a past friend:
"In the heart of the desert, where the sands stretch to eternity, Lies the essence of life, in its purest simplicity. Beneath the blazing sun, where the winds whisper secrets untold, Lies the beauty of the desert, in its mysteries manifold.
Amidst the dunes of time, where the past and future entwine, Lies the wisdom of the ages, in the sands of time divine. In the silence of the night, where the stars illuminate the sky, Lies the solace of the desert, in its quiet lullaby.
So let us heed the call, of the desert's timeless song, And wander through its vast expanse, where we truly belong. For in the heart of the desert, where the spirits roam free, Lies the essence of life, in its eternal mystery."
As the final words of the poem fade into the desert night, Durza looks to Martin with a gentle smile, the firelight dancing in his eyes. "A timeless tribute to the boundless beauty of the desert. May its wisdom guide us on our journey, now and forevermore."
