Zane is practicing with his sword

Rex is wandering around. He’s trying to talk to people, but they’re ignoring him.

Devin is sulking in his room.

 Cody pokes his head in Devin’s room. “Yo, you good?”

 “Fine.” He sighs.

 “Yeah, ya don’t look the part.”

 “I’m just annoyed. All of these amateur losers running around wanting to fight NOTUS. NOTUS didn’t do anything to them. They don’t have a good reason for fighting them. They hurt us, though. I know we’re working together and it’s good to have help in the fight, but all this ‘War on NOTUS’ talk is just making me furious. Maybe I’ve got emotional problems.”

 “I’m not a fan of it either. They’re all egotistical and won’t believe the people who have actually been hurt by NOTUS.”

 “I managed to treat myself, but I got shot by NOTUS too. I can’t get sick cause the shadows in my blood kill small creatures like bacteria and bugs, so no infections, and I bandaged it so it didn’t bleed. But you and Rade got huge wounds and you got all the attention. I’m not jealous, why would I be jealous? You got hurt! But now whenever I ask people why they want to fight NOTUS they say ‘ohhhh these guys got hurt’ they have no idea what they’ve actually done!”

”No offense.”

 “Let them die. DAO obviously doesn’t care about us anyway.”

 “Oh hey (I’m guessing Rade) Rade. I’m hoping that once I get strong enough, I can escape again and start my own organization. An organization centered around freedom, choice, and safety. An equal organization that doesn’t imprison people. One that actually cares.” 

 *yep rade*
”We need someone on the outside, to set up something safe so this idea can get off of the ground.”

 “I know the DAO means well, but they aren’t doing this right. We, as experiencing the DAOs imprisonment, know how to make a good space. I’ve got an idea on how to get help on the outside.” He whispers something to Rade and Cody.

“I think making an alliance with one of the DAO’s enemies could serve us well. After that, we can just ditch ‘em. Not NOTUS obviously, someone like Will or his organization. Will is dead, but there might be more Will-like people out there.”
