Out of the blue, at a completely random time of night, the normally silent and locked elevator dings. Not many of the new people at the DAO have heard it go off before. The doors slowly open, and from it there are 4 teenagers. In the front of the group is Devin, battered but looking not nearly as bad as Cody and Rade, who are both unconscious and being carried by Peter. Peter is wearing a backpack that has a white bunny sticking its head out. Rade’s face is heavily cut and bruised, and Cody’s entire body is covered in burns. There is a device attached to his chest. Each one of them has some kind of accessory that they didn’t have before they disappeared. Devin has a dark necklace, Rade a utility belt, Peter had a chest piece equipped with several containers of drugs. Cody has a gauntlet around his right fist and Sadie (the rabbit) has a mini rabbit headset complete with a microphone and goggles. The two that are awake are silent and breathing heavily.

Sometimes we have missions, a sort of way to get out of the compound and do something that’s probably dangerous. There’s the gym, around that corner is the rec room, and here are our rooms. The floor is covered in a thin layer of water, that flows from one wall to another. The walls, floor and ceiling are covered in mosaic tiles that look roman in origin. Instrumental music plays in the background.
