Cody looks up from his sheet music and taps his pen on it. “I’m Cody. Who are you?”

“Uh. It’s kinda hard to explain…My body regenerates when I die. I’m basically immortal. I could demonstrate. How squeamish are you?”

"Umm, not very."

“Alright, check this out.” He takes a small knife out of his pocket and uses it to slit his own throat. He collapses over his paper he was writing on, but the cut heals after a few seconds and he sits up.

Kali gasps. "Wow, that's a useful anomaly."

He rubs his neck. “Yeah, it doesn’t do much else besides that, though.”

"That's still incredible!''
