Homophobia is absolute bs. I should know. I recently asked a girl i know what her opinion on gay/queer people was, and her response was more or less as follows
i personally don’t support the LGBTQ+ community but i have a lot of friends who are LGBTQ and i will continue to be friends with you if you are. Like wtf??? And then she asked me not to judge her because it was just her opinion??? Very confused. But she never seemed to consider the possibility that I would stop being friends with her on account of her being homophobic.
on the subject of pride parades…i was gonna go to one this weekend but my parents don’t think its age appropriate so i guess i can’t go 😭

Only this year were men in the US military pardoned for the crime of being gay. 2024 people. Some churches won’t validate gay marriages. And most of us get a lot of sh!t in general.
