I don't mean to make a huge politics conversation but my take is that I preferred Trump over Harris. I do think people deserve the right to make their own choices as long as they don't harm others so I do feel bad that you may be suppressed even if I don't agree with the whole trans thing. I love the people and think that they should be able to have the choice. I will say that being forced into trans and whatnot is a thing so it is not a one-sided suppression, but still.
Back to the whole Trump over Harris, I felt that Harris was not someone who could be trusted. She spent nearly her whole campaign shoving her opponent down and never truly detailing what she would do as president. Trump made it very clear what he would do and overall, (not everything as I said above) i agree with or don't have a problem with. Harris avoided questions to just demean her opponent and that is the work of a sophist. As someone who studies rhetoric, logic, and the misuse of such, rhetoric is used by someone who wants to make the truth believable while sophism tries to selfish make the person believable, which often leads to manipulation and corruption.
Notice how i define rhetoric, as people often misuse the term, and portray it as a manipulative and hateful speech that is wrong. What people think of when they say that is often actually sophism, a misuse of rhetoric which is indeed bad. Okay, circling back, and trying to keep this from turning into a big thing, I trust Trump more than Harris, so I am glad he was elected instead of her. I do hope the policies to deal with controversial things that are enacted allow for the freedom of CHOICE, no pushing one way or the other because that just causes rebellion. You know what they say, rules without relationship causes rebellion. Let's hope there is an effort made to be understanding on both sides.
I don’t like Harris, but people trust a felon who is currently convicted of literally attempting to change votes so he’d win in 2016. He lost and attacked his own countries capital like a baby who didn’t get the candy he demanded. I don’t agree with Trump, immigrants are not all murderers and theives. Infact, those immigrants are doing the worst jobs in the US for its people who would never sign up for them. If anything they help the economy, and they’re not voting 16 times each. How can you feel no sympathy to people fleeing violent conflict in their own country when decades ago you’re own family immigrated to America? America is all immigrants, whether it’s liked or not, people hate Mexicans because of racist idealogy. Did you know originally people hated Italians too? They were just there for so long they eventually became excepted as a good group of people. If Trump robbed a bank and was arrested he’d complain that the cops are mad he’s rich and he did nothing wrong. Trump doesn’t care about you, he said he’d take away voting, how’s that for some good ol American freedom and choice? He also payed a female actress hush money for ****** her I’m pretty sure. well, I’m glad you have someone you trust as your president, but it’s worth noting at the time Germany trusted Hitler, Trump isn’t quite that bad. And the debate, Trump made his opinions so clear he constantly interrupted his opponent and talked about nothing else, he never mentioned helping US, the people, and if he did vaguely he won’t do it. He also claims with racist ideas that those non Americans coming to the US are eating dogs, but when you believe an entire race of people is murderers and thieves I guess that’s believeable too. (Also, Harris lied one time in the debate, Trump lied every other minute)
At least some people feel safe I guess, lies can be more comforting then the truth.

Thanks man...to be honest, I don't really trust any government or politician, or any man for that matter, Trump, Harris, Biden, they are all selfish and have problems. I don't know which is better for our country, and I haven't learned a whole lot about them, only bits and pieces and guaranteed the information comes from biased sources, as with anything. I agree with you wholeheartedly that a good heart and a desire for what is right is what matters, and we are trying to learn what that is. That is part of the reason I like to get to know others, to see what they have learned, and what they have lived through. I want to know others and learn from them, and offer what I have learned in return. This is going to sound cheesy but... If we all work together, test everything, and not give up on searching for what is real and right, then I believe we will find it. Currently, I believe that we have a creator, that he loves us dearly, and wants to show us that truth we are looking for, and that it is Him. I have fought this idea, trying every possible way to deny and can't. And now I am trying to understand it.

Overall well, a little discouraged this morning...I struggle to find something to do everyday. My situation is pretty tight, but I think most people experience this at my age.
I am home-schooled which is awesome, and not part of any homeschool group (may or may not be awesome). I have graduated as of this year, and now need a job. I am content living with my family and never really want to go far from them, but a source of income will be necessary sooner or later. To get a job, you need a vehicle, and the nearest worthwhile job is 30 minutes away effectively meaning that anyone who wants to help me get there and back would have to take 2 hours of their day to do so. So, I need to learn how to drive, but that isn't a short process and am working on it. You also need money to register my car which was given to our family by friends, for that you need a job. All in all, that leaves me here, at home, with very little to do in the day except hang out here on DDB and make D&D campaigns. I have aspirations, but no means of persuing them except this.
So, to summarize and answer simply, I am doing well, just need an activity that is fufilling to do. I have things but I have recently grown a little discouraged because I never do them as well as I want to be able to like making good maps for my story. But, overall, I am good. Life goes on, and go on with it lol
I hope you at least find D&D fulfilling.
Thanks!!! I do, and that comes from my faith that my Creator made me to do what I want to do, which is mainly D&D and wanting to love and know other people, and D&D is a perfect and awesome way to get to know others and explore life through various fantastical senarios while having fun!

If you were to multiclass with Blood Hunter, I'd suggest you multiclass into a cleric, paladin, or fighter.
I am mostly a DM, not by choice, but out of nessecity lol. Also this is likely due to the fact I have only every played D&D in person with my family and very recently friends
Playing in person is nothing to scoff at. Being online isn’t better, and is even worse in aspects. Personally I simply wouldn’t play if I could only do so online, and to extend that point that’s partially (with other reasons) why I’m not into the new edition. It’s pushing digital a bit too, and yknow the rules really just changed some problems and gained new ones
I’m a bit of an old man when it comes to opinions on doing stuff online (despite being 13) but I really dislike it, I’m not saying it should be gotten rid of, having D&D online is super useful for some people who can’t meet irl. It’s just.. very stale in comparison. It’s much harder for me to get excited when I’m behind a computer trying to move my figure across a battlefield, and I can’t see others as well as I can in real life. It leads to a feeling of disconnection at least for me. Also I would absolutely nail someone for being on their phone during a session, or watching a movie. I just hate when people can’t pay attention for 20 minutes to something (unless it’s because they’re neurodivergent, I have more patience then)
Sorry I dropped out of this conversation! I whole heartedly agree irl is better. It is so much fun and I have to say, my favorite thing in my life to do is play a campaign with friends while having fun, eating snacks, and having worthwhile conversations with them through NPC's. I love rp so much.

I don't think I have ever seen a place with as dense a likeable people before if you know what I mean lol.
Yeah the community here is great, I’ve been to like discord servers and other areas of the internet but I have some disagreements with them, the discord servers are always people being kinda shallow, no one ever says anything about something deeper then opinion on thing A or thing B, and everything they say is a joke. And I’m not joking, I can’t even tell if they’re racist or homophobic because literally everything is a joke in their eyes. It’s all satire, if nothings not a joke then don’t jokes lose their meaning? It really annoys me Some places just have people that aren’t very kind at all. I feel like the community here is all on the same page to some extent, there’s been someone doing soemthing messed up here and there but really everyone’s pretty nice.
Its also refreshing to have a conversation with someone and actually just discuss topics and opinions, especially with people who aren’t you’re best friends, don’t get me wrong that’s nice but seeing others perspectives is interesting, and sometimes people change my mind about something
For sure! Listening to other perspectives to form my own is sort of my goal at the moment. I have so much to learn and I believe every person has as legitimate and worthwhile reasons as my own, and not putting it past others to be right and myself wrong which is hard for many people and myself. Everyone is worth the same, no person is worse or better than another, doesn't matter if you are a christian, and trans, a murderer, or whatever you are, you are a human, same as me or anyone else, and we are all made to better each other. I hate most when Christians say something like that and then despise people like trans or gay, or just even atheists because it literally is hypocrisy and doesn't put a good light on other Christians who are actually trying. Every person, no matter what you may think of them, is just as worth your time and attention as yourself. A relationship with people and Yahweh is the most important thing to me, and just by having that, I know he wants me to share the acceptance he has for me, with everyone, no matter what they believe or do. That's not to say there is no right or wrong, or that you that people may be living bad or just plain evil, but we are not the ones to judge or decide that, Yahweh is the one who confronts the people, and his love is what he confronts them with.

Yeah, people can make some pretty crazy stuff and it is awesome! I have DM a solo campaign for my beat friend and made him into and invicible level 60 character. I don't have a written out stat block to share here but let's just say he killed 2 Dragons the size of continents with 18,000 hp each!!! Stupid man, I can't believe I made something so broken. It isn't even like he has stupid high number on stuff, its just that the combination of so many kinds of abilities used perfectly to destroy his enemies. I will share the stat block someday lol

I have so much to learn and I believe every person has as legitimate and worthwhile reasons as my own, and not putting it past others to be right and myself wrong which is hard for many people and myself. Everyone is worth the same, no person is worse or better than another, doesn't matter if you are a christian, and trans, a murderer, or whatever you are, you are a human, same as me or anyone else, and we are all made to better each other. I hate most when Christians say something like that and then despise people like trans or gay, or just even atheists because it literally is hypocrisy and doesn't put a good light on other Christians who are actually trying. Every person, no matter what you may think of them, is just as worth your time and attention as yourself. A relationship with people and Yahweh is the most important thing to me, and just by having that, I know he wants me to share the acceptance he has for me, with everyone, no matter what they believe or do. That's not to say there is no right or wrong, or that you that people may be living bad or just plain evil, but we are not the ones to judge or decide that, Yahweh is the one who confronts the people, and his love is what he confronts them with.

If you were to multiclass with Blood Hunter, I'd suggest you multiclass into a cleric, paladin, or fighter.
I am mostly a DM, not by choice, but out of nessecity lol. Also this is likely due to the fact I have only every played D&D in person with my family and very recently friends
Playing in person is nothing to scoff at. Being online isn’t better, and is even worse in aspects. Personally I simply wouldn’t play if I could only do so online, and to extend that point that’s partially (with other reasons) why I’m not into the new edition. It’s pushing digital a bit too, and yknow the rules really just changed some problems and gained new ones
I’m a bit of an old man when it comes to opinions on doing stuff online (despite being 13) but I really dislike it, I’m not saying it should be gotten rid of, having D&D online is super useful for some people who can’t meet irl. It’s just.. very stale in comparison. It’s much harder for me to get excited when I’m behind a computer trying to move my figure across a battlefield, and I can’t see others as well as I can in real life. It leads to a feeling of disconnection at least for me. Also I would absolutely nail someone for being on their phone during a session, or watching a movie. I just hate when people can’t pay attention for 20 minutes to something (unless it’s because they’re neurodivergent, I have more patience then)
Sorry I dropped out of this conversation! I whole heartedly agree irl is better. It is so much fun and I have to say, my favorite thing in my life to do is play a campaign with friends while having fun, eating snacks, and having worthwhile conversations with them through NPC's. I love rp so much.

Yeah the community here is great, I’ve been to like discord servers and other areas of the internet but I have some disagreements with them, the discord servers are always people being kinda shallow, no one ever says anything about something deeper then opinion on thing A or thing B, and everything they say is a joke. And I’m not joking, I can’t even tell if they’re racist or homophobic because literally everything is a joke in their eyes. It’s all satire, if nothings not a joke then don’t jokes lose their meaning? It really annoys me Some places just have people that aren’t very kind at all. I feel like the community here is all on the same page to some extent, there’s been someone doing soemthing messed up here and there but really everyone’s pretty nice.
Its also refreshing to have a conversation with someone and actually just discuss topics and opinions, especially with people who aren’t you’re best friends, don’t get me wrong that’s nice but seeing others perspectives is interesting, and sometimes people change my mind about something

I’m pretty sure I got perma banned for talking with this guy about politics for a while (he was convinced the Taliban were everywhere and was joining the military, just a lot of really weird things that weren’t true) but you can’t speak about politics or religion really, if it’s fighting then they’ll make much worse things, usually it’s just, “Site rules notification”

Thanks man...to be honest, I don't really trust any government or politician, or any man for that matter, Trump, Harris, Biden, they are all selfish and have problems. I don't know which is better for our country, and I haven't learned a whole lot about them, only bits and pieces and guaranteed the information comes from biased sources, as with anything. I agree with you wholeheartedly that a good heart and a desire for what is right is what matters, and we are trying to learn what that is. That is part of the reason I like to get to know others, to see what they have learned, and what they have lived through. I want to know others and learn from them, and offer what I have learned in return. This is going to sound cheesy but... If we all work together, test everything, and not give up on searching for what is real and right, then I believe we will find it. Currently, I believe that we have a creator, that he loves us dearly, and wants to show us that truth we are looking for, and that it is Him. I have fought this idea, trying every possible way to deny and can't. And now I am trying to understand it.

Yeah, people can make some pretty crazy stuff and it is awesome! I have DM a solo campaign for my beat friend and made him into and invicible level 60 character. I don't have a written out stat block to share here but let's just say he killed 2 Dragons the size of continents with 18,000 hp each!!! Stupid man, I can't believe I made something so broken. It isn't even like he has stupid high number on stuff, its just that the combination of so many kinds of abilities used perfectly to destroy his enemies. I will share the stat block someday lol
