I find it interesting how most of the male-adjacent people here are saying to be blunt, but the female adjacent people are saying to “test the water” maybe something to look into
Meanwhile I'm over here panickin' like: "WHAT DO I DO?! WHAT THE F*CK DO I DO?!?!?!?"
lol. It is interesting though. You got this, Elk. I believe in you. I’m definitely someone to trust for romantic advice. Or something. But seriously, you got this. Maybe you should just outright tell her to get it over with. Idk romance is not my strong suit. I only read books.
Elk just say how you feel, if it doesn’t work out then it doesn’t work out, if it does work out then I won’t have to hire a sniper.
*Grabs you by the collar of your shirt* NO, Jester. Even if she rejects me, she's still one of my best friends.

Hi guys! This is my desktop alt account. My mobile one goes by the name of AgateElk8337, so maybe you've heard of me? Who knows! For those who don't know, I'm a demiromantic, very socially awkward he/him from the Sooner State. I'm also an unofficial therapist on Onions Are LIke Worms.

Honestly, that is interesting. I know there’s a lot of sexiest ideas about how male and females are different but the real ones are interesting (some of the sexiest ones can even have bit of truth, for instance I’m pretty sure males are actually stronger on average, but then sexiest ideas come in and don’t let females do any physically demanding jobs or play sports and think they’re weak and fragile. It’s not as bad in our modern day as it was but there’s definitely a lot left)

Males having a higher muscle mass is just a fact. And while woman aren’t weak by any mean, women should football would result in a lot of broken bones (men’s football doesn’t have many bone breaks surprisingly) the same reason with physical labor. Men are on average just better suited for that kind of work

Latin for remember that you will die. Memento is where we get the word memory, and in modern times means something you keep after an event, to keep memories off Mori means death or to die, which is where we get the words mortal and morgue. So it would translate to something along the lines of “Keep memory that you will die”

Okay?
Also are you talking about like, the world leagues of football? My moms cousin lost half a tooth in football (yes, that’s a bone) and one of my friends older brothers who I know vaguely had a friend who died playing football last year. I don’t think anyone should play football personally, it’s just a bad idea
Unless you mean Soccer? Sorry idk if you’re American too (sorry I don’t agree with our terminology it’s just so common I default to it most of the time)

By football, I mean American football (I’m not taking the time out of my day to make that distinction normally) don’t know what you mean by world league unless you mean football as in what we call soccer. While a tooth is a bone, that’s pretty much just nitpicking. All the fun things that require physical exertion are dangerous, but that’s what makes them fun. While football is incredibly dangerous, if you play it smart, you’ll make it out fine and filthy rich if you go pro.

I’ve also seen it translated as “Remember, thou art mortal.” The Roman emperors used to have someone around whose sole job was to remind the emperor that he was not a god and he would die someday too.
