My idea for hit points to start with would be either roll 3d6 or take the average and add 3x con mod to it. Also each character gets one simple weapon they are proficient with. Still figuring out beginner armor. This way the characters aren’t going to die from a sneeze, but they will be less powerful since they have no class features to augment their abilities.
However, I would want players to pick what class, race, and a couple of ideal weapons they would like to use so I can create an growing artifact for each to discover that will unlock their class features, race choice, and give them a cool trick weapon to use throughout the campaign.

Just watched Mary Poppins, a true masterpeice. My favorite part is the last 40 minutes, though it’s entirety is amazing and better then the book it’s based off of. And yes, I will be humming Let’s Go Fly A Kite and Chim Chim Cheree for several weeks

I have seen this movie hundreds of times at this point, I use to want it almost every day when I was a kid. It’s still a joy to watch after all this time.
Anybody else ever feel like classifying themselves in Boy band terms, by which I mean, the smart one, the relatable one, the handsome one, the leader, etc? Or am I just a specific kind of weird?
I could never relate myself to people like The Backstreet Boys or One Direction.
