So working of a stat block for a character and just realized that with the rules I'm using this character can cast twenty-seven 9th level spells per long rest.
I don't know why they would need to be able to cast that many 9th level spells in a day but they can.

Yes. They also have access to epic spells too, so they are a pretty terrifying caster.
