Hmm, I really want to turn this one character from a show into a character for a tavern, but that might be a bit difficult, considering who the character is…
It’s the Toymaker from Doctor who, the god of games.
”there is order and there is chaos, and then there is play. If I told you he could manipulate atoms with the power of thought, would you believe me?”
”Is that what he does?!”
”No! We can’t fight him.”
basically, he doesn’t follow the laws of physics, only bound to the rules of games that he plays. He can’t refuse challenges, and if he loses, whoever beats him gets a, ‘prize,’ which can range anywhere from a stuffed animal to becoming the ruler of a nation.

O sorrow, I have ended, you see, by respecting you, because I am certain you will never leave me.
Ah! I realize it: your beauty lies in the force of your being. You are like those who never left the sad fireside corner of my poor black heart.
O my sorrow, you are better than a well-beloved: because I know that on the day of my final agony, you will be there, lying in my sheets, O sorrow, so that you might once again attempt to enter my heart.
Hello everyone, just finished by weekly session with my main D&D group. Hope everyone's evenings are going well.
Oh nice! It has been so long since I played anything sembling a session, how did it go?

I have made a huge homebrew setting that I am still working on putting here in DDB. Please give me feedback, I want to know all of what I am doing wrong, and what I am doing right. The thread is a huge work in progress, so everything in it from content to layout is subject to change. Please check this forum:Welcome to Zionderia
Also I have a fun thread that explores an idea about dreams based off the movie Inception. I still need to add the link but stay tuned.

It went great. My players are currently dealing with their characters being shunted into the distant past to a few centuries after the War of Creation between the Gods and Primordials. They are trying to find their way back to their current timeline and are getting caught up in the political tension of the time. They are also getting ready to go fight an old dragon general from said war who's mind is deteriorating due to old age in order to give it a respectful and glorious death by combat.

Ah, yeah. My group typically play until midnight. Sometimes we end a little early, and sometimes we have played until almost 1 in the morning.
Nice! Did it go well?

Nice! We usually only play a few hours, but we played like a ten hour session one time when we were finishing up Curse of Strahd. From 7 pm till 5 in the morning. On a weekend, of course. We were exhausted.

Yeah, I love a challenging game, but not so challenging it doesn’t have the chance to be fun.

I’m going to try using the Toymaker in a tavern.
it will either be great or go horribly. Wish me luck!
also, on top of all of those things I’ve listed, the Toymaker has a German accent.
