Bad thread idea: This one is actually a previous idea that I added onto a bit. Anyways, there was a big magical singularity, that caused the stories and legends of man kind to roam the earth once more. This is not exactly ideal, as super powerful beings (dubbed living legends) that have been displaced in space and time might do something that gets people hurt. Good news. They can’t leave the city. Bad news. We don’t know how to get rid of them (short of straight up killing them, which may have unforeseen consequences) so a group called the regulators were formed. Bunch of people who gained powers during the singularity, said powers usually relating to a piece of literature in some way. Anyways, these regulators have been tasked with monitoring these living legends and making sure they don’t kill anyone, possibly even capturing them for research, so we can finally send them back to wherever they came from. People would play as these either a regulator, living legend, someone who got powers in the singularity but hold no real allegiance or something else entirely
