I talked to Luna and they encouraged me to pursue my current story instead. Anyway, it already has elements of both of those.
A story about a frog sheriff with a normal human-sized revolver in limbo on an island filled with cyborg toys. The protagonist is looking for hope and forgiveness in a world that couldn't care less about him, and he's hunting monsters that prey on the fears of those around them, growing stronger by feeding on his guilt and despair. He's trying to be a hero, but he's really not cut out for it, especially since he's relying entirely on a weapon that doesn't have easily accessed ammunition (toys use toy weapons as a general rule) and holds six shots.
