I don't know if my fangan stands up to some of the EPIC ones out there but i'm pretty happy with what I have going on, especially the first chapter. I've been working on it for a while and i included lots of fun themes and symbolismy stuff. Every character is represented by a flower, and i consulted not only a floriography book and a book about magic and medicine in plants, but also my plant-nerd sister. Each chapter has a title taken from an old book, movie, or song that represents what takes place in that chapter. It includes heavy topics (trauma, death, etc) and difficult topics (abuse, transphobia, psychosis), but I'm doing my best to handle them well and respectfully.  I'm really proud of my story and my characters.
