Okay so it's kinda a two team game, where each team has a few special roles. Each team has a general and a traitor. The traitors know who each other are, and the teams don't know who their generals or traitors are. Every day, a siege happens, where one team attacks the other (still figuring out who gets priority on attacking) two people die every siege, chosen by the attacking general, a member of their own team and a member of the team being attacked.
If both the general and traitor aligned with one team die, that team loses and the other team wins. I may add some other roles, like a medic or detective maybe, but I probably won't get that many people to play so general and traitor for my first playtest to keep it simple.
It's really clunky, but it's a wip. If it doesn't sound interesting, tell me what would make it interesting.

Whoa...no that sounds cool. I'd say maybe figure out the special roles -- also maybe make it so everyone has a special role? Idk, maybe that'd make it broken, but I'd also say that if you're just a soldier with no special powers and no control in what happens...well, I don't think the game would be interesting.

In the first game, there will be two teams, each with a traitor. Only the two traitors know who each other are. Each team can execute people on the other team, by planning a siege. In a siege, one person chosen by another role, the assassin, will die. The assassin of the attacking team chooses the one person who dies. They can eliminate strategists or people who they think have an important special role on the other team. The assassin is not known to the whole team, although they can choose to reveal their role. There will be two PMs and one main thread, a PM for each team and the main thread for sieges and interaction between the groups. The first team to have both their assassin and the traitor they sent to the other team die loses. The priority of who gets to attack is given to the first team that says they want to attack. The players can also kill off a member of their own team every day, although they do not have to. This kill is decided by a vote.
SPECIAL ROLES:
Assassin: Chooses who to kill on the other team during a siege. Unknown.
Traitor: Can mislead the other team into killing off their own members or killing weak roles. Unknown, except by the traitor on the other team. Can be killed by both a vote or an assassin. The traitor can also roleblock people.
Medic: There are two medics, one on each team. The medics can choose to heal someone after every siege, but they can only guess who has been attacked. If they do not make it in time to their chambers, they cannot do anything.
Guard: The guard can sacrifice themself to protect the person about to be killed, but only if they guess who is about to be killed. One on every team.
Ranger: The ranger watches from the shadows, suspicious of everyone. They can kill people on their own team at night, but if they kill someone who is not the traitor, they die. One on each team.
