Don’t do two of same kind of weapon (barring Chinese Hook Swords) If you’re dual wielding, you should have one weapon dedicated for offense, and an offhand weapon for parrying, like a dagger. That, or choose two shorter weapons like Karabi or Eskrima. Even then, you’re better off just using one dedicated weapon with both hands

And i dont really have that many choices, i have a dagger (Really its a knife, but the blade, is about 9 inches long, so its basiclly a dagger)

If I was given the choice of two weapons I’d probably choose a bow, and a spear or an axe. Spear would be a pain to carry, but probably easier to use than an axe effectively for someone like me who has no melee experience. Axe would be less effective in my hands but also has other uses and easier to carry.
I feel like a whip is just brutal… those things are f****** horrifying, less so if it’s not to the death, but still
hugely depends on context though, where, when, and why. Like if it’s modern day in many contexts the best answer is just a gun
Not the best choice of combined weapons, but also not necessarily bad. Whip has decent range but it useless on defense, while a dagger lacks aforementioned range but can be used for parrying. Would be horrible in short range though

I feel like I’d choose a rapier, since I’ve got some fencing experience. For long range probably a light bow, also some archery experience, or a dart gun which I have no experience with but it seems kinda sick. Ooh, maybe a pike. Too many options…

It’s a really terrible weapon in the sense that it’s really not meant to kill, just to cause pain. And also (I learned this recently, a street performer was using one): when it cracks, that’s a sonic boom. A (GP)ing SONIC BOOM. WHY ARE WE MAKING THESE THINGS?
