I’m like… a story writer. Not a poetry writer. But poetry is awfully similar to songwriting and I’m trying to songwrite so close enough, and painful enough.

I'm a story writer too! I find that what I want to say can't always fit into verses and rhyme schemes, so I put myself into my characters and make their stories instead. My own D&D characters are accidental self-inserts most of the time. I can show you what I have but it's a bit...long. Because it's actually a monologue I wrote recently that I'm trying to re-format into a poem.

I actually really love pop music. HUNTR/X tracks go hard, okay? And sometimes, in quiet moments, like this, I can hear...

We're doing this again? Stop it. Shut up. I don't -- why? Why do you do this? Why do you whisper to me on every breeze? Why do I see you eyes whenever I close mine? I just want to sit here and, like, eat s'mores. But you won't let me.
Because there's all these memories. So unbearably many memories I can't forget. It's it's when you waved at me every day. It's when you changed your hair and it looked so weird. So cute, too. It's your jokes that shouldn't have been funny, but your voice made them hilarious. It's your signature side smile.
And it's it's the day you swore you'd be there for me. And where were you? Where? I never saw you again! But I can't stop hearing you. Every freaking day. You won't come back to me. And yet, you won't go away.
