I created a hunger games OC named paisely from district 8 who won by accident. Her arena was a winding cave system with tunnels and mineshafts. Her district partner, a selfless boy known for being a local hero, died early, picking up a stick of dynamite to throw it away and misjudging the fuse. With him gone, she just ran through the tunnels, hoping that if she didn't stop, she couldn't be found. Meanwhile, the games went on, other tributes killing each other. One boy was left, thinking he'd won, but realizing there was one tribute left alive. He began to chase her, catching up. But just when he was close, a rock fell from the cave ceiling, crushing her flat. Paisely was picked up from the arena, splattered in debris but relatively unharmed. But she won in a stupid way, so the capitol only kept her around for her tour, sending her back to 8 to be forgotten afterwards. Since her games were the 72d, she lives throug the event sof the books. And obviously, most of the victors don't survive, including her. so how did she die, this girl, still only 19, who never faced danger head on? When the riots began sweeping 8, people began to evacuate. And Paisely felt drawn to help. Maybe it was the spirit of indigo, her district partner, the hero she never was, but she donned his old jacket and ran out into the streets. She helped the people escape over the border. But she knew the peacekeepers were behind them. And they just needed a little more time. So for the first and last time, paisely ran directly into danger. When the world began to rebuild, many of the survivors from 8 reminded that selfless girl, the one who was completely irrelevant until she wasn't. A memorial is made to her. And since, in her final moments, she was wearing Indigo's jacket, the people unwittingly remembered him too.

I created a hunger games OC named paisely from district 8 who won by accident. Her arena was a winding cave system with tunnels and mineshafts.
