A lot of talks from my dad (who doesn’t know I’m bi), and just a lot of careful observation. A lot of watching old 90’s high school movies with my mom. Those always are the deciding factor. I’m pretty good at social stuff for an 14-year-old introvert.

Then look — I’m directly quoting your advice. Tell him. Even if it’s by text, even if someone calls you out for it at school. If you’ve had a crush on him, you probably know right now that you don’t want to miss out on this.
If you don’t want to tell him that yet, then just chat. Build up to it — hang out as friends, just be friends for a while. Then, if you still feel like you want to be more than friends, tell him. If he says no, he’s not good enough for you.
And yes, I know it’s corny to say this when I’m in this process myself. But is there another way with a good outcome?

A lot of talks from my dad (who doesn’t know I’m bi), and just a lot of careful observation. A lot of watching old 90’s high school movies with my mom. Those always are the deciding factor. I’m pretty good at social stuff for an 14-year-old introvert.
