Okay, some stuff is going on at home right now, so I can't post a lot, but maybe I can explain:
Basically, I think I might love somebody, but I can't actually tell because I just left a year-long phase where I suppressed all my emotions. I didn't mean I CAN'T love people; I meant I can't tell because of how messed up I've been lately. So I might love someone, or I may just be struggling to figure out what these emotions I went without for so long are.
Okay, need to go. Hope this clarifies things a bit.

Gato, Golden, REAL.
Golden, it will take time. You "never" knowing what it's like to love someone is incredibly unrealistic and untrue. Your mind and your heart will need some time to adapt because of the stress placed on them by suppressing your emotions. But you'll know someday. As long as you want to, you will. This may just be my opinion, but love comes in a lot of shapes and sizes. I try to love a bunch of people, by putting their needs before mine and helping them wherever and whenever I can. In such a sense, I love you and basically everyone on this thread. It's my own kind of love, and that's valid. You can find your own kind of love. It might not be the kind you think you're looking for, but it'll be the one you need. And when you finally see it, you will know. You'll know what you feel.
