A god can have multiple avatars in multiple places, although only one can be in combat. They can look different, and you can create bonus stat blocks for avatars other than your main.
CHARACTER GENERATION:
First, choose a domain. Next, create your character details, like name and appearance. The world is new so characters will have just been created, no backstories, the world is just a barren land. You will start with five ability points that you can spend on your avatar. Avatars start with a stat block to be added, that you can modify using ability points. Choose your abilities and spend ability points. Choose a specialty. You will start with an avatar, no need to save up points to buy a new one, but you can get another one. Currently, I have not finished avatar abilities and I desperately need help with them, so if you would like to help me make this not a mess, I’ll make you a mod and we can work together.
SPECIALTIES:
You can only choose one specialty! Choose wisely!
Life Creation: When you roll a d8 to determine how many lifeforms you make, you can instead roll a d12.

When you send out troops, PM a mod what type of troops you sent out and they will compare. If you have two military groups against one, the one with more wins. If there are more than one and they’re equal, the groups will be split by an unbiased mod, and will slowly narrow down the troops.
LORE:
The world started as a barren archipelago. No plants, simply just dust, rock, and water. And then the gods were created. Gods can only interact with people and other gods in the form of their avatar, as a god, they are merely just a force. Divine Homes are where the gods and their favorite followers reside. They are inaccessible to regular mortals.

Uses a Dnd-esque system. System where people can choose and pick up abilities based on their domains. Power is gained through acts of devotion. Requires certain skills to advance to other skills. Skills are acquired through points which are gained through acts of devotion. People can gain points in other ways, like they can convert ability points to creation points and do the same in the opposite direction, or gain points by going on quests.
Gods start with the regular DnD stats. They have two forms, godly and avatar. As a god, they can create life and send down natural disasters. The mortals cannot hear their words, only guess what they mean. As an avatar, they can directly talk to their followers and attack people. A god can have multiple avatars in multiple places, although only one can be in combat. They can look different, and you can create bonus stat blocks for avatars other than your main.
CHARACTER GENERATION:
First, choose a domain. Next, create your character details, like name and appearance. The world is new so characters will have just been created, no backstories, the world is just a barren land. You will start with five ability points that you can spend on your avatar. Avatars start with a stat block to be added, that you can modify using ability points. Choose your abilities and spend ability points. Choose a specialty. You will start with an avatar, no need to save up points to buy a new one, but you can get another one. Currently, I have not finished avatar abilities and I desperately need help with them, so if you would like to help me make this not a mess, I’ll make you a mod and we can work together.
SPECIALTIES:
You can only choose one specialty! Choose wisely!
Life Creation: When you roll a d8 to determine how many lifeforms you make, you can instead roll a d12.
Devotion: When you roll a d8 to determine how many devotees you get, you can instead roll a d12.
Energy Renewal: When you roll the die, you roll a d12 instead of a d8.
Terrain Manipulation: When you spend points to create something terrain related, you can add one. If you called two mountains, you could add another one. If you called one island, you could add another one.
Disaster Calling: The cost of calling a disaster is halved for you, rounding up on a decimal.
Divinity: You can speak to the divine creatures or magical mortals that you create even in your godly form.
COSTS FOR CREATION:
When I say you can roll for creation (usually every day, but since this is the beginning, I may do it more), each god you control will roll a d8. The number they roll will be the amount of creation points they get. Creation points can be spent on doing certain things, like creating life and sending down storms.
LIFE:
Create a tiny organism: 1 point
Evolve an organism: 5 points
Create a plant: 4 points
Create an animal: 10 points
Create a race: 20 points
Create a mythical creature: 30 points
TERRAIN:
Create Mountain: 5 points
Create Lake: 1 point
Create Island/land: 10 points
DISASTER:
Flood: 3 points for every island you flood
Fire: 2 points
Earthquake: 5 points
Storm: 3 points for every island you hit
Tsunami: 4 points
DIVINE:
Create a new avatar: 30 points
Create a demigod: 30 points
Bestow a mortal with magic: 3 points
Create a divine home: 10 points
GAINING DEVOTEES:
Every time you spend points, roll a d8 times the amount of points you spent. You get that many devotees (unless nobody sentient is alive, and in that case, it’s just a waste.) Devotees will do what you ask them to do and sacrifice, as long as you grant the occasional wish. You can categorize your devotees into groups, including military groups. You require 100 devotees to make a military group. Military groups can be infantry, cavalry, and archers. They are each strong and weak against another. Infantry is weak to cavalry and strong to archers. Cavalry is weak to archers. This works in a rock paper scissors way. When you send out troops, PM a mod what type of troops you sent out and they will compare. If you have two military groups against one, the one with more wins. If there are more than one and they’re equal, the groups will be split by an unbiased mod, and will slowly narrow down the troops.
LORE:
The world started as a barren archipelago. No plants, simply just dust, rock, and water. And then the gods were created. Gods can only interact with people and other gods in the form of their avatar, as a god, they are merely just a force. Divine Homes are where the gods and their favorite followers reside. They are inaccessible to regular mortals.
GETTING ABILITY POINTS:
Every time your devotees make an act of devotion to you, like sacrificing some people, creating a building, or taking over a city, you gain ability points, which can be converted to creation points. Below is a list of tasks that could get you devotion points and how to complete them.
